Abstract 

The full span of Alzheimer’s disease, from asymptomatic, pre-dementia, mild-to-moderate stages, should be considered in the management. There are multiple research opportunities for better understanding and treatment of this condition. Ongoing cohort studies developed under Leon Thal’s leadership will facilitate this process.
